Education Technology Specialist
Spring Education Group is a multi-brand education network of superior private school institutions spanning infant care through high school. The primary function of the Education Technology Specialist position is to troubleshoot and maintain a variety of systems related to the setup, maintenance, and support of Spring Education Schools. Duties for this position include but are not limited to the Tier 2 support for Education Technology Applications, troubleshooting and ensuring accuracy of integrations of third party software, create documentation for processes and policies related to education technology, and assisting the Education Technology team with projects related to these systems.
This position may also serve as a general technical support specialist during peak periods to assist our schools with technical tasks. The work is performed under supervision of the Education Technology System Administrator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to the following:
• Provide technical (Help Desk) support to Edutech systems users.
• Provide rostering support to third party software by use of software connections and/or spreadsheet import
• Advise and help in implementation of technology during curriculum development.
• Develop and create documentation and support materials for Edutech Systems
• Work closely with other departments for collaborating IT projects.
• Train other staff and stakeholders on technical issues as needed.
• Light design and programming work related to system reports.
• Operate a personal computer and manage servers using program applications appropriate to assigned duties.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
• A degree in an education / technology field or 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Experience with various Education Technology systems
• Clever/Powerschool/Schoology Preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills showing success in working with people.
• Experience/training in providing technical support
• Perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under pressure of time sensitive deadlines.
• Demonstrate integrity, ingenuity and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks.
• Maintain important records efficiently and accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficient knowledge of database structure with the ability to enter, manipulate, and report data.
