As a Senior Change Management Ops Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the technical architecture and driving the implementation of new hardware standards and services. You will work closely with senior engineers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient distributed systems that meet the highest standards of protection and availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Build Scalable Systems: Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems for Change Management, leveraging your technical expertise to drive towards the right solution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle, working closely with senior engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and services.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization, sharing best practices and improving processes within and across teams.
  • Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles, and share knowledge and expertise across the team.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Debug application code and troubleshoot interface software, utilizing your analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Cloud Technologies: Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Objective C, C#, Dart, Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and services.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies, identifying and mitigating risks, and monitoring and evaluating change progress.
  • 24x7 Operations: Assure 24x7 operations and stability of services, with a high regard for end-user experience, and support projects migrating from existing platforms to new platforms.

Essential Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: 4+ years of experience with architecture and design, and 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
  • Scripting and API Integration: 2+ years of experience with scripting and API integration, and 2+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
  • Change Management: Experience in change management strategy development, risk identification and mitigation, communication planning and execution, and change progress monitoring and evaluation.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
  • Certifications: Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud Certifications: Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Certified Solutions Architect.
  • DevOps Experience: Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Security and Compliance: Basic understanding of security and compliance needs of the business, and experience with certificates and secure communication.

Compensation and Benefits
