About the Role

As a Senior People Operations Workday Analyst, you will be the cornerstone of our HR technology infrastructure, driving the success of our People team and contributing to the company's overall growth. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to manage and maintain our Workday HCM system, provide expert support, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the overall architecture, scalability, and integrity of Workday HCM, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.
  • Provide dedicated support for Talent, Compensation, and Peakon modules, addressing user queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Oversee upgrades, patches, enhancements, and other technical projects, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance data accuracy, reporting, and analytics.
  • Lead optimization projects to maximize the potential of Workday, driving business decisions and outcomes.
  • Generate complex reports and analytics, providing actionable insights to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Partner with business leaders to support business objectives and plans, ensuring alignment between organizational capabilities, culture, and strategy.
  • Stay abreast of current HRIS trends, focusing on developing Workday, service delivery, and support to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicting demands, prioritizing projects, and demonstrating a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Foster positive and influential relationships with managers and employees, providing exceptional support and guidance.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Workday HCM System Administrator, with a deep understanding of the system's capabilities and limitations.
  • At least 2 years of HR technology experience in a large organization (1000+ employees) with an increasingly complex business environment.
  • Knowledge of general business processes and how data and software applications support them, with the ability to link strategy with HR solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday and Microsoft 365, with the ability to leverage these tools to drive business outcomes.
  • High autonomy and self-motivation, with sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated natural leadership qualities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • The ability to work expeditiously, adapt to continually changing priorities, and demonstrate analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Experience working in a FinTech or similar industry, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Certifications in Workday HCM or related HR technologies, demonstrating expertise and commitment to professional development.
