We're now looking for a seasoned Senior Talent Business Partner to join our Talent team, specifically to support our Product Marketing, Design, and Research teams across the globe. As a strategic partner, you'll play a crucial role in driving Airbnb's culture and business success by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
The Role: Making a Difference
As a Senior Talent Business Partner, you'll be the trusted advisor to our Product Marketing, Design, and Research teams, providing expert guidance on talent-related matters. Your mission is to ensure that these teams have the right people, skills, and culture to drive business success. You'll work closely with senior leaders, talent partners, and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategic people initiatives that align with Airbnb's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior leaders to define, launch, and execute people-related projects that drive business outcomes.
- Talent Development: Develop and translate talent strategy into deliverable plans that align with local business objectives.
- Change Management: Effectively manage change by influencing and communicating with key stakeholders, anticipating risks, and developing creative mitigations.
- Employee Relations: Provide local support on complex ER matters, developing appropriate solutions and partnering with Legal and ER teams.
- Talent Management: Partner with managers to advise on performance and behavioral issues, and escalate to broader talent and legal teams when necessary.
- Compensation and Benefits: Educate employees and managers on compensation and benefits programs, and partner with the Compensation and Total Rewards team on candidate offers and internal mobility.
- Coaching and Development: Actively partner with leaders to coach and develop team members, managers, and individuals, promoting a culture of feedback and open communication.
Your Expertise:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 15+ years of progressive Talent/HR experience in a high-speed, high-growth environment, with a background in supporting teams regionally and globally.
- Proven expertise in employee engagement, performance management, coaching, and compensation programs.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively support and connect with a global, diverse, and valuable team.
- Ability to think creatively and work collaboratively to develop and execute programs, navigating a matrixed environment.
- Well-developed analytical and influencing skills, with unquestioned integrity and a confident presence to effectively resolve sensitive employee issues.
- Genuine curiosity and a strong desire to continuously learn and grow, with a self-directed and highly independent approach.
What We Offer:
At Airbnb, we're committed to taking care of our employees. You'll enjoy:
- A competitive salary ranging from $196,000 to $245,000 USD, depending on your experience and qualifications.
- Bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits, providing a comprehensive rewards package.
- A dynamic and inclusive work environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
- Remote work flexibility, with the option to work from anywhere in the US (except for excluded states).
