About Our Team and the Role
We're excited to announce the expansion of our Business Technology team in the Asia-Pacific region with a new office in Pune, India. This strategic move is part of our next growth adventure, focusing on delivering unparalleled value to our business partners and customers through transformational programs for Go-To-Market and Enterprise Data Analytics teams. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in leading cross-functional platform programs that have significant scope and impact across all areas of Go-To-Market applications. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring a strong and robust security model, working closely with internal and external security auditors, and partnering with business and business technology partners to deliver value to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the business system analysis for the Salesforce SaaS platform, ensuring alignment with business processes and goals.
- Collaborate with the audit team to validate IT General Controls (ITGC) & IT Application Controls (ITAC), and ensure SOX documentation is up to date, accurate, and properly handled.
- Participate in and own the validation of Internal Audit and SOX reviews for Salesforce configuration management, access management, and user role management.
- Drive sprint ceremonies independently, owning platform security, vulnerabilities, and engineering initiatives, user story grooming, identifying cross-functional dependencies, and ensuring closure.
- Work closely with product managers and the GTM development team in the design, development, and deployment of projects and system enhancements.
- Document business requirements, including user stories, business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, business cases, gap analysis, and functional design documents.
- Analyze and initiate configurations and customization of the Salesforce system, participating in change management and go-live support processes.
- Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts, and end-user representatives, and coordinate system testing to ensure requirements are met.
- Work closely with the project team during user acceptance testing (UAT), tracking issues through to resolution and securing end-user acceptance signoff.
About You – Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst or equivalent, supporting business partners in various groups on a global enterprise system.
- Proficient hands-on experience in driving platform engineering, coordinating Salesforce and integration application release updates, and reducing cross-dependent code vulnerabilities.
- Strong background in managing Salesforce profiles, permission sets, user access provisioning, allocating roles, managing groups, and workflows.
- Hands-on experience in designing Salesforce or comparable CRM products, including work processes, approval principles, and security controls.
- Good knowledge in analyzing log data using a Security Incident Event Management (SIEM) and/or Log Analysis platform such as Splunk.
- Solid project management skills, including the ability to define project scope, establish timelines, coordinate assets, communicate status, and lead the delivery of results.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Salesforce Service Cloud).
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence, interact, and partner with cross-functional and remote teams.
- Hands-on experience with reports, data management/data manipulation, and dashboards, with the ability to organize information and processes in a logical and efficient manner.
- Knowledge of integration tools like Snaplogic/Heroku and experience with data structures and data modeling.
- Experience with SOX audits and ITGC is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, are required.
