About the Role

The Supply Chain Specialist - Procurement will play a critical role in managing day-to-day procurement operations, ensuring the smooth execution of our supply chain functions. Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in supply chain management, procurement, and operations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Purchasing
  • 1+ years of experience working with overseas suppliers and negotiating contracts
  • 1+ years of experience with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of working relationships with domestic and international suppliers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create and modify reports to analyze supply chain performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to professionally communicate with suppliers and customers
  • Strong Microsoft Excel abilities and experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Sourcing experience and relevant experience working in the steel industry are highly desirable
