Job Overview
As a Tech Support Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing technical assistance and support to our clients via phone, email, and ticketing system. You will be responsible for resolving technical issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware, as well as installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Respond to email, ticket, or phone queries and log all help desk interactions
- Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem, walk customers through problem-solving processes, and follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid organizational skills and excellent time management
- Availability to work on a US time zone shift
- Proficiency with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g., MS Office), online calendars, and scheduling (e.g., Google Calendar)
- Excellent phone, email, and instant messaging communication skills
- A tech-savvy mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Technical Requirements
To perform this role, you will need to have the following technical equipment:
- USB headset with noise cancellation
- Working webcam
- Primary computer with a desktop and dual screen, and a backup computer with at least i5 to i7 processor and 8GB RAM
- Main internet service speed of at least 25 Mbps wired connection, and backup internet speed of at least 10 Mbps

Schedule and Location
This is a remote position, and you can choose to work full-time or part-time on a schedule that suits you best (PST, MST, EST, or CST). We are looking for candidates who are available to work on a US time zone shift.
