Job Overview

As a Technical Device Manager for the Marcom team, you will play a critical role in supporting video production and photography projects. You will handle the devices being filmed for marketing and training purposes, ensuring that they remain true to function and are showcased in the best possible light. Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Device Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring released and unreleased products remain true to function and are accurately represented in marketing materials
• Acting as a liaison between engineering, product marketing, branding, content, and production teams to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
• Working with creatives to prototype, load, and screen capture content on devices, and managing devices in production environments (video and photo)
• Preparing and testing hardware and software ahead of productions, and partnering with creative teams to ensure screens and content remain true to the Apple brand
• Handling logistics, project planning, and meeting security needs to ensure the successful execution of marketing projects

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 4+ years of experience in a technical or production role, with a strong understanding of photo and video production principles
• Experience in networking and/or technical troubleshooting, with the ability to solve complex technical challenges
• Experience with at least one of the following: Photoshop, Aftereffects, and/or Final Cut, and a strong understanding of Apple hardware and software products
• Excellent customer focus, with a knack for building strong relationships to better understand and meet customer needs
• Strong curiosity and dedication to ongoing learning and professional development, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of technical project management principles
• Prior experience as an Apple Lead Genius, or equivalent experience in a technical support or customer-facing role
• Experience using Terminal and Command Line, with a strong understanding of scripting and automation principles
• Technical project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
