Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
As a Full-Time Center Associate at The UPS Store #6259, you'll play a critical role in delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving business results. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries, responding promptly to their needs and concerns
- Processing packages for courier shipment, operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices with accuracy and efficiency
- Advising customers on our array of products and services, including packaging, shipping, and mail services, and providing expert guidance on best-value options
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards and regulations
- Completing tasks independently in a quick turn environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines as needed
- Collaborating with team members to achieve sales goals, share knowledge, and best practices
- Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on products, services, and industry trends
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed as a Full-Time Center Associate at The UPS Store #6259, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED, with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
