About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Remote Associate Claims Representative. In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing and processing claims, calculating benefits, and providing exceptional service to our members. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills to make a positive impact on the lives of millions of people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process claims, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Calculate other insurance and benefits, utilizing knowledge of healthcare claims and regulations
- Participate in meetings to share best practices, discuss trends, and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
- Navigate various computer systems to locate critical information and resolve claims
- Provide exceptional service to members, ensuring a positive claims experience
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- 1+ year of experience in a related environment (office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as primary job tools
- Proficiency with Windows PC applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm in your local time zone, with flexibility to work occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of healthcare claims, including ICD-9 and CPT codes
