Job Summary

As a Behavior Technician - Autism Support Specialist, you will work closely with our team to deliver ABA therapy to children with autism in their homes or in one of our centers. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families, while gaining valuable skills and experience in the field of behavior analysis.

Key Responsibilities

* Work with children (18 months to school age) with autism and special needs in their homes or in one of our centers * Provide ABA therapy and support to help children build essential skills and achieve their goals * Collaborate with our team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans * Collect and record data on client progress and behavior * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members * Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements and Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required * Eligibility to work in the United States * Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule: morning, afternoon, and/or evenings * Ability to pass a background check * Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License * Strong curiosity and desire to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA * Genuine desire to help children with autism and their families achieve goals * Compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, goodwill, and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

* Bi-lingual, with English/Spanish fluency * Studied, majored, or minored in psychology, education, special education, child care, behavioral health, health science, or a related field * Experience working with children, whether as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, or some other form of childcare

Physical Requirements

* Ability to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run * Ability to push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly, according to client needs
