Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Allied Health Programs Student Navigator to provide professional case management services to students in our allied health programs. The successful candidate will establish positive relationships with students, provide academic and career planning, and coordinate supportive services to ensure student success. This is a remote opportunity with a competitive salary range of $76,581 - $82,446 per year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Support: Develop and maintain positive relationships with students through a case management approach, providing academic and career planning, and implementing retention programs and services.
  • Academic Advising: Conduct intrusive advising, monitor student progress, and meet with students on academic progress on an ongoing basis.
  • Case Management: Gather information to assess service needs, plan and implement special projects, and coordinate department activities and services.
  • Program Introduction and Support: Coordinate program introduction meetings, workshops, and seminars, and provide supportive services to support academic persistence and success.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze data, prepare reports related to the assigned student population caseload, and maintain a system for tracking students along career and education pathways.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships with external partners, stakeholders, and community agencies to support student success.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field (Doctorate degree preferred).
  • Experience: At least four years of experience in student development or academic advisement, with at least one year of experience working in the coordination of Allied Health Program services.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: Experience working in higher education, particularly in allied health programs.
  • Skills: Familiarity with student information systems, data analysis, and reporting.
