We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to support our internal RevOps function. This role will be pivotal in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of revenue-related processes, and providing critical insights through data analysis.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sales Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Revenue Operations function, you will be responsible for architecting and building our data warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and analytics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure seamless integration of data sources.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build our data warehouse, contributing to scalable data infrastructure and models that ensure reliable insights for our Revenue Operations function.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analytics to support Sales and Marketing decision-making.
- Administer, iterate, and potentially implement various architectural components of our Revenue Operations platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure seamless integration of data sources.
- Collaborate and consult with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams to align on revenue goals and reporting needs.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering in a B2B SaaS company.
- Experience pulling data and building data lakes/warehouses/pipelines from Sales or Marketing systems such as Salesforce or Hubspot.
- Advanced knowledge of Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
- Experience with complex data modeling, ELT design, and experience with Big Data technologies like Apache Spark and PySpark and corresponding AWS technologies.
- Proven proficiency with Google Cloud or AWS for data storage, processing, and management.
- Experience with Google Big Query (or similar) for large-scale data warehousing and querying.
- Proven experience in managing data pipelines and infrastructure in a rapidly scaling environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver data-driven insights.
Nice To Have Skills
While not essential, the following skills would be beneficial for this role:
- Experience supporting revenue operations, or a related field, especially in relation to commercial performance KPIs.
- Experience with tools like DBT, or Airflow, Fivetran.
