Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our Emergency Care team in Morgantown, WV. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Stryker Emergency Care products to meet our customers' needs. You will work strategically to achieve your assigned quota by taking a consultative approach to Pre-Hospital sales, marketing, clinical, and demonstrations of all related Pre-Hospital products and programs. If you have a strong understanding of marketing, market research, new product development, and new product introduction, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Work strategically to promote and sell Stryker Emergency Care products to meet our customers' needs.
- Achieve your assigned quota by taking a consultative approach to Pre-Hospital sales, marketing, clinical, and demonstrations of all related Pre-Hospital products and programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including fire chiefs, medical directors, clinical instructors, and administrators.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Contribute to leading in product innovation by listening and working with others and contributing new ideas.
- Live out your mission to save and change lives by selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 5+ years of professional experience required, sales or clinical preferred.
- Knowledge of marketing, market research, new product development, new product introduction, P/L management, and field testing.
- A valid driver's license in the state of residence with a good driving record, as you will be operating a company vehicle capable of transporting equipment.
Physical and Mental Requirements
This role requires:
- At times, moving, setting up, and demonstrating equipment weighing up to 75 pounds (lift unassisted 75-80 pounds).
- Prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate.
- Coordination of the eye, hand, and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability, and memory retention.
- Handling various materials, including but not limited to: durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, product components comprised of rubber, metals, and coated products.

This role requires:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills specifically relating to stress management, people management, and conflict management.
- Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise.
- Ability to possess written and oral communication / present to large groups of people.
- Ability to manage time and bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and confidential records.
