Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the service delivered to our customers meets or exceeds contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through timely and effective issue resolution.
- Clarify customer requirements, probe for understanding, and utilize decision-support tools and resources to provide appropriate resolutions to customer inquiries.
- Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns, demonstrating empathy while maximizing opportunities to build rapport and trust.
- Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, adhering to agreed-upon procedures and protocols.
- Maintain a basic knowledge of client products and/or services, staying up-to-date on features, benefits, and any changes or updates.
- Prepare complete and accurate work, including appropriately notating accounts as required, to ensure seamless customer interactions.
- Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service operations.
- Offer additional products and/or services to customers, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell relevant offerings.
- Track, document, and retrieve information in our call tracking database, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient issue resolution.
- Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff as needed, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma, with three to six months of relevant customer service experience preferred.
- Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge, with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- A dependable and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- A tolerance for repetitive work in a fast-paced, high-production environment, with a focus on maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- The ability to work effectively as a team member, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
