About the Role
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant, you'll play a vital role in helping patients navigate their healthcare journey. You'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions, communicating with healthcare providers, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a high-impact role that requires a unique blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
- Route questionable prescriptions to pharmacists for completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Make outbound calls and fax physicians to clarify prescription information, substitutions, and formulary changes.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-production environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Utilize strong computer skills to navigate multiple systems and applications, ensuring accurate data entry and processing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues, share knowledge, and drive continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a specialty pharmacy or mail-order setting.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with healthcare providers and patients.
- Proficient in multiple software applications, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty pharmacy experience, with a focus on transplant or other complex therapeutic areas.
- Call center experience, with a background in customer service or patient support.
- Prescription adjudication experience, with the ability to communicate effectively with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $27.90 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications. We're committed to providing fair and competitive compensation, and our salary ranges are adjusted based on the location and other factors.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 7:30pm, guaranteed 40 hours per week
