About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of our customer service team, providing exceptional support and solutions to Airbnb customers. You'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two calls are the same. Your expertise and enthusiasm will shine as you handle customer inquiries of varying types, leveraging your active listening skills and probing question skills to resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound customer calls, providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Utilize your sales skills to meet and exceed sales targets, promoting Airbnb services and features to customers
  • Manage and overcome objections from customers who wish to cancel or suspend their subscriptions, working to reduce churn and retain customers
  • Work collaboratively with your team and leaders to share best practices, address customer concerns, and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency, meeting and exceeding performance metrics and goals

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and customer service goals
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and other software applications
  • Previous experience in customer service and sales, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • Previous experience working with Airbnb or similar customer service platforms

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
