As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and onboarding high-potential sellers to our platform, guiding them through best practices in online selling, and ensuring they meet our high standards of delivery, customer experience, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and Insights: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and global trends, as well as monitoring competitor efforts to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Seller Acquisition and Onboarding: Identify, prospect, and acquire high-ability sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations, and guide them through the onboarding process.
  • Seller Enablement and Support: Share best practices in online selling, provide data-driven insights to help sellers achieve high standards of delivery, customer experience, and business objectives, and influence internal and external stakeholders to resolve vendor issues.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve vendor problems, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Performance and Growth: Exceed income objectives using consultative and solutions-focused processes, and demonstrate achievement in promoting nascent products/offering into new markets.

Primary Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Business Experience: 1-3 years of successful business-class sales experience, preferably in e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG industries.
  • Sales Achievement: Demonstrated achievement in exceeding income objectives using consultative and solutions-focused processes.
  • Communication and Presentation: Advanced conversation and presentation abilities, with a robust working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs.
  • Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Advanced analytical abilities and quantitative skills, with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and be enthusiastic about success and winning.
  • Commercial Enterprise Judgment: Remarkable commercial enterprise judgment with strong written and oral communication talents.

Preferred Qualifications

  • E-commerce Experience: 2 years of e-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Consumer Electronics Experience: 3 years of experience in the consumer electronics sector is a plus.
  • Direct Sales Experience: 3 years of direct sales experience is a plus.
