The Role

As a Customer Service Representative with our Review Team, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Interacting with beneficiaries and providers via our helpline, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Creating, formatting, and proofreading letters to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Managing and maintaining timely communication with customers, including responding to phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Utilizing internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes.
  • Providing intake for all appeals received by Arsenault, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Identifying areas for potential improvement and participating in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with a courteous and patient demeanor.
  • Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communications skills.
  • Customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
  • General knowledge of a PC-based computer system, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-high school business courses.
  • Medical terminology experience.
  • Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology.
  • Previous data entry or other clerical experience.

Experience

We recommend two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities.
