Job Summary

This is a full-time remote position, requiring 35-40 hours of work per week, with a flexible schedule that includes Sunday to Sunday, 5:00 am - 10:00 pm local time. You will be required to work one of our 8-hour shift schedules during our typical business hours. We offer comprehensive training, which includes 4-5 weeks of standard training, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from clients regarding benefit eligibility questions and prescription status inquiries
  • Educate and inform customers about their prescription benefits, plan usage, formulary, fees, and status of orders and claims
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns, document required information in computer systems, and provide solutions and alternatives
  • Make outbound phone calls to clients regarding prescription orders and remittance concerns
  • Navigate multiple databases to resolve complex issues related to member prescriptions and pharmacy benefits

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Degree/GED (or higher) or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ year of customer service experience, including providing service over the phone
  • Proficiency in computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system functions
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work any one of our 8-hour shift schedules during our typical business hours of Sunday - Sunday, 5:00 am - 11:00 pm local time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Contact center experience
  • Client service experience
  • Expertise with Adult Learning in digital environments
  • Experience working with digital systems and bodies (internet, chat, email)
  • Health Care/Insurance environment (understanding of clinical terminology, medical plan records, or benefit program design)
  • Community service, personality wellness, disease prevention, health promotion, and behavior modification (partnering with vulnerable populations)

You will also need to be highly organized, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex computer systems.
