About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of undergraduate classes, including weekly private lessons, studio performance classes, and chamber music. You will also be expected to participate in departmental, school, and college service, such as music audition days, recruiting, grading juries and recitals, and advising students as needed. Key Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned classes at the undergraduate level, including private lessons, studio performance classes, and chamber music

  • Contribute to the development of an inclusive and equitable academic environment that fosters the growth and success of all students
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and performance activities to maintain and enhance your skills as a violinist and educator

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess a Master's degree in music or a related field, a record of teaching excellence, and evidence of success as a performing artist. Recent ABD doctoral candidates are also encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this position is $60,100 - $79,950 per year, dependent on discipline, qualifications, and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
