Job Overview
In this critical role, you will be responsible for executing medical services methodologies, driving patient wellbeing results, and ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will work closely with our team to implement patient intervention pharmacy programs, drive pharmacy financial performance, and maintain current knowledge of the pharmacy industry. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects.
- Drive the execution of various strategies and operations to ensure business needs are being met.
- Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by contemplating, evaluating, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing changes.
- Ensure region pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines.
- Drive local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial objectives.
- Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance.
- Support efforts on improving patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services (e.g., patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and retail, clinical, or health services, such as vaccinations, disease state management, and Specialty programs).
- Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership.
- Conduct data and clinical reviews, making strategic moves to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions.
- Review drug records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment.
- Give individualized patient/provider consultation.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree and a current Pharmacist license as conferred by the appropriate state licensing authority. You should have experience inspiring colleagues to research and resolve issues, working with confidential information, and utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and meeting deadlines. The ability to work non-standard hours, including evenings, holidays, and/or weekends, is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
- Knowledge of insurance plans.
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus.
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check, or printing worksheets).
- Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view, or running a slide show).
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, copying, and editing text, choosing font type and size, changing margins and column width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or print functions).
