Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides patient care and support, including personal hygiene, meals, and ambulation
  • Assists with medical procedures, such as enemas, douches, and non-sterile dressings
  • Conducts remote video monitoring, ensuring complete visualization of patients and notifying RN or Charge RN of any changes in patient status
  • Obtains hand-off communication via RN regarding ambulation limitations and course of action for redirection of patient if needed
  • Documents observations and disperses team communication in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Completes required observation documentation at established intervals
  • Obtains shift-to-shift hand-off report from previous shift
  • Performs unit secretary duties, including creating a calm and business-like atmosphere, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and greeting customers and handling their inquiries
  • Utilizes universal precautions and environmental safety guidelines, complying with established measures for infection control, OSHA, and AHCA regulations and risk management

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant license
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
  • Commitment to the University's core values
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment
  • Proficiency in computer software (i.e., Microsoft Office)

Preferred Qualifications:
