Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Associate III to join our team, focusing on health and life insurance products. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for answering complex customer inquiries, providing exceptional service, and resolving customer issues with professionalism and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Answer incoming customer calls, respond to customer requests, and address complex questions regarding health and life insurance products.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of currently marketed health and life insurance products, including policy details, rules, and regulations.
- Issue Resolution: Provide quick, professional, and precise resolution to customer issues and questions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Data Management: Enter customer requests into our data system, open and dispatch work orders to various departments, and complete call history.
- Communication: Handle customer requests via fax, email, or voicemail within 24 hours or 1 business day, ensuring timely and effective communication.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Post-High School Training: Up to two years of training in a specialized trade, technical school, or college.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent Communication Skills: Both verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Insurance Background: Knowledge of health insurance terminology is preferred.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret a variety of policies, rules, and regulations.
