Job Summary

As an Ecommerce Business Development and Account Manager, you will play a critical role in growing our 3P marketplace in the USA. You will be responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing high-value accounts that bring new products, pricing, and convenience to our customers. Your mission will be to study product selection gaps, execute go-to-market strategies, and attract key marketplace players to join our ecommerce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and Insights: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and global trends. Monitor competitor efforts and identify opportunities to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Seller Acquisition and Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
  • Seller Enablement and Support: Guide sellers through sharing best practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards of delivery, customer experience, and business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve seller issues.
  • Business Growth and Performance: Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth, exceed sales objectives, and expand our product selection and customer base.

Primary Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Sales Experience: 1-3 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in ecommerce, technology, retail, or FMCG industries.
  • Consultative Sales Skills: Demonstrated achievement in exceeding sales objectives using a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Advanced conversation and presentation skills, with a strong working understanding of Excel and MS Office applications.
  • Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Advanced analytical skills and quantitative abilities, with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
  • Commercial Judgment: Remarkable commercial enterprise judgment with strong written and oral communication talents.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • Ecommerce Experience: 2+ years of ecommerce experience.
  • Consumer Electronics Experience: 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics sector.
  • Direct Sales Experience: 3+ years of direct sales experience.
