We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our office and facilities, ensuring seamless operations and efficient management of our hybrid workspace. Job Summary

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our office and facilities, including managing IT infrastructure, supporting staff onboarding, and maintaining a productive work environment. You will work closely with our team and external partners to advance our mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including responding to emails, welcoming guests, opening and distributing mail, handling office requests, preparing bank deposits, and coordinating weekly bank outings.
  • Oversee maintenance, upgrades, and space planning to ensure the optimal functionality of the office.
  • Act as the primary contact for all office and building matters, including maintenance issues, repairs, and procurement of equipment and supplies.
  • Manage IT needs, including troubleshooting and communication with IT vendors, ensuring IT compliance with industry standards, and overseeing hardware and software needs.
  • Provide operational guidance to new employees, including onboarding, office tours, and technology training.
  • Support internal staff events, including the monthly AMAZON Workforce meeting and weekly stand-up meetings.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Director on AMAZON's risk management and compliance.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with IT systems, including hardware and software management.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with change management, new software implementation, and systems development.
  • Familiarity with office management software, including Monday.com, Adobe, and Amazon Business.
  • Experience working in a small business IT environment (25-35 staff).
  • Formal project management training.
  • Commitment to creating an equitable and inclusive work environment.
