About Information Ventures
Our Information Ventures team is responsible for creating reusable technologies that enable client acquisition, onboarding, and merchant empowerment. We focus on providing fast solutions to merchant cases and tickets, ensuring a seamless experience for both partners and clients. Our team is dedicated to delivering tailored experiences for clients across all channels, including online, mobile applications, and websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Transformation and Integration: Analyze data from various databases, create data pipelines, and transform data into relevant structures. Develop data models and design data warehouses and data stores.
- Data Source Identification: Identify suitable data sources, perform initial data quality checks, and ensure data integrity.
- Data Modeling: Develop logical, physical, and consistent data models, including data warehouse and data store designs. Define data relationships, entities, and attributes.
- Code Development and Testing: Write code to develop application features, create unit tests, and validate proposed solutions. Deploy software to production servers and maintain code documentation.
- Applied Business Intuition: Provide recommendations to business partners, develop business cases, and translate business requirements into technical tasks.
- Data Governance: Establish, maintain, and report data governance operations and recommendations. Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory policies.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert advice and guidance to junior team members, develop training documentation, and regulate system troubleshooting.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in programming or related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Knowledge of data engineering tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
