Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team of innovators and problem-solvers. As a key member of our Engineering Group within the Operations Division, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web and cloud-based applications. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for Specialists in areas of expertise
• Act as a mentor to other Engineers
• Lead project teams or facilitate issue resolution
• Collaborate with vendors and regulatory specialists to ensure compliance with material regulations and company policies
• Develop customized methods and special procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, adjustments, and other maintenance activities not covered in existing manuals
• Stay informed about daily airline operations, including areas of responsibility
• Review daily needs based on airline/departmental targets and management mandates
• Analyze aircraft/part issues that may cause flight delays or cancellations, significant uses in labor or materials, or breaks in maintenance activities, and determine appropriate corrective actions
• Provide engineering support as needed to restore aircraft or parts to a serviceable status
• Respond to requests from Maintenance and other airline divisions when technical assistance is required to support tasks or resolve issues
• Develop activity plans for fleet/multi-fleet and part engineering projects and pursue completion as per evaluated needs
• Collaborate with other airline divisions as needed to ensure effective and efficient execution of engineering practices
• Develop engineering documents to implement technical practices by providing customized methods for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance activities that provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental targets and management mandates
• Stay up-to-date on current and future regulations that affect areas of responsibility and ensure that all engineering activities maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Utilize available resources to enhance levels of technical expertise and practical experience continuously
• Improve communication skills, utilizing time effectively, and other individual characteristics relevant to maximum effectiveness and efficiency in performing assigned duties
• Effectively interact with senior colleagues and management

Requirements for Success

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 1 year of experience in a related field or 2 years of experience without a degree
• A&P license
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools
• Ability to analyze technical information and make data-driven decisions
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations that promote awareness of solutions
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with cloud-based applications and web development
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems
• Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
