Key Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Processing exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, recognizing and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and the fund business or transfer representatives.
  • Handling Corporate Activity Events, settling/reconciling move activity, and processing/reconciling returns activity.
  • Performing research of complex/escalated concerns, testing/validation of new innovation improvements, and provider modifications.
  • Completing projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Company Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor account.
  • Communicating with Retail and Institutional Company Teams through email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce.
  • Working with TD Ameritrade Cleaning in our daily connections with fund companies, transfer brokers, opposite organizations, and other outside business partners.

Tasks Analysis

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Customer review of membership deals or transactions demands.
  • Client/Advisor level exceptions.
  • Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3).
  • Settlement of Business, Dividend, and Transfer Breaks.
  • Reconciliation around BOS and Fund Companies.
  • Evaluation and analysis of applicable income tax code and corrections of income tax coding.

Trouble Resolving

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Internal/External body enhancements or concerns.
  • Origin of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
  • Delivering method or innovation answer choices to Control.
  • Remediating transmission problems with the Fund or Contra Agency.
  • Answering service companion inquiries relating to Fund specific requirements/eligibility.
  • Providing action on Choice Investment moves to expedite the customer request or remediate not in good order concerns.
  • Timely and correct conclusion of client investing and returns requests.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
