• Develop data quality checks and implement data base optimizations using tools like Pattern Change (15% of time)
• Create and maintain ETL schedules using ETL and integration tools like Wind stream (10% of time)
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and perform SQL and ETL tuning as required (5% of time)

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of relevant data engineering experience
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles, including layered modeling and data normalization principles
• Good comprehension of SQL engines and ability to lead advanced performance tuning
• Ability to think logically, analyze, and interpret market and customer data
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal presentations
• Excellent applied and analytical thinking skills

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and functions
