Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to achieve on-time performance goals and execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans
- Coach and develop Flight Attendants to reach and exceed expected performance levels, promoting a culture of excellence and customer service
- Conduct fact-finding and investigation meetings, and manage grievance processes in a timely and accurate manner
- Hire and terminate Flight Attendants, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Promote safety and compliance with all regulatory and Company requirements, maintaining a strong safety culture
- Interpret contract language and apply it to day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless execution
- Maintain accurate employment files and ensure direct reports understand and apply customer service standards
- Model Allegiant's customer service standards in personal actions and leadership direction, driving a customer-centric culture
- Perform line checks on-board revenue flights, conducting delay investigations and analyzing key metrics and performance indicators
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to handle irregular operations and flight interruptions
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a Flight Attendant
- Minimum two (2) years' experience managing people
- Minimum one (1) year experience managing in a union environment
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986
- Pass a Criminal Background Check
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with a dispersed workforce
- Ability to handle a large internal and external client base
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
