As a part-time Archer Resource, you will be working closely with the MNIT cybersecurity team to deliver technical assistance and expertise in Archer administration, development, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality Archer documentation to support system development and improvement
  • Troubleshoot general system issues and provide technical assistance to the team
  • Develop and implement new asset records in Archer, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
  • Process exception requests and provide input into Archer Optimization Assessment
  • Identify areas of improvement in the current setup and provide solutions to maintain control standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Create and manage data feeds to import and export data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and compliance
  • Develop and maintain custom objects within RSA Archer using scripting languages
  • Query and manage the Archer database using SQL, ensuring data accuracy and system performance

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in Archer administration, development, and implementation, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Archer in a development or administration role. Additionally, you should have:

  • 2 or more years of experience implementing Archer solutions in a similar environment at Federal or State agencies
  • 5 or more years of experience configuring RSA Archer modules, creating applications, dashboards, reports, and workflows
  • Certified industry standard certifications such as Archer Certified Specialist or Archer Certified Expert
  • Familiarity with security and compliance and audit assessments processes, with a focus on IRS, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, and Affordable Care Act
  • Experience with integration using APIs, Web Services, and other integration tools
  • Scripting skills in any scripting language for custom object development within RSA Archer
  • Database management skills, including SQL for querying data and managing the Archer database
