Job Overview: Instructional Training Designer
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Training Designer to join our team in Atlanta, USA. As a Learning Expert in our IVL Federal medical insurance Learning and Execution group, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale projects and training initiatives that drive business results. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions that meet the needs of our Aetna team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions to meet the needs of our Aetna team members
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and develop instructional objectives and content that align with business goals
- Create engaging learning activities, including infographics, videos, simulations, and games, to enhance the learning experience
- Develop supporting materials, such as audio, video, and multimedia resources, to reinforce learning objectives
- Design methods of evaluation, such as tests or assessments, to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions
- Analyze evaluations and provide feedback and learning opportunities to improve future learning solutions
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate learning design and development
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as instructional design, education, or communications
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Project management and organizational experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization
- Attention to detail and a quality-focused attitude
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Articulate, Dazzle, Vyond, case management systems, or Learning Management Systems (LMS)
