Job Overview
We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Agents. As a Customer Service Agent, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, providing top-notch assistance to our customers with inquiries, bookings, and various airline-related services. This is a part-time or full-time position, offering a competitive hourly rate of $22 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to our passengers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations, as well as rebook passengers on oversold flights and during irregular operations.
- Perform passenger check-in and seat assignment, rectify oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades as needed.
- Issue vouchers and coordinate with contractors for passenger hotel accommodations, food, and transportation.
- Operate gate readers/scanners and perform related tasks, including pre-boarding, monitoring/checking carry-on bags, and exiting row criteria.
- Make boarding and departure gate announcements, deliver domestic/international flight files, and perform passenger service flight close-out procedures.
- Accept, check, and tag passengers' bags at decision centers, full-service ticket counters, and first-class ticket counters.
- Maintain the timeline of the flight boarding process, process and complete credit card bag transactions at kiosks, and assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk bag processing.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or international equivalent.
- Bilingual language skills required in some locations.
- Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities.
- Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted admission to airport security identity display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
- Must be able to obtain airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, full background check, and/or fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Sabre or another Passenger Service System.
- Previous face-to-face customer service experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
