Job Summary
As an Associate Manager - Retail Media Advertising Operations, you will play a critical role in the execution, optimization, and reporting of direct and programmatic retail media business. You will work closely with internal teams, Client Services, and partners to ensure campaigns meet client requirements and deliver exceptional performance. Your expertise in ad sales operations, team management, and ad management technology will be invaluable in driving business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution & Optimization: Execute campaign trafficking, optimization, and reporting of direct and programmatic retail media business. Support daily execution and optimization of digital marketing campaigns to ensure seamless delivery and peak performance.
- Campaign Management: Manage campaigns to weekly and monthly budget goals and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement. Lead the trafficking, management, and optimization of advertising campaigns leveraging 3rd party platforms.
- Client Collaboration: Work with internal & partner Client Services to ensure campaigns meet client requirements and deliver exceptional results. Collaborate with internal digital teams and Client Services for efficient campaign management.
- Data-Driven Insights: Create a data-driven approach for reporting and insights to foster training needs and drive business growth. Support campaign and creative QA, including troubleshooting issues.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate to build inventory management processes and ensure efficient campaign execution.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or Business.
Experience
- Progressive Experience: 3 years of progressive experience in Digital Ad Sales Operations, including at least 3 years of team management experience.
- Ad Management Technology: 1 year of hands-on keyboard experience with ad servers and ad management technology (GAM required, DMP or CDP required, DSPs required, video & creative hosting platforms preferred) and troubleshooting tools (Charles proxy, HTML5 Validator, Ghostery etc.), including a point-of-view on viewability, ads.txt, and ad tagging.
- Verification Tools: 1 year of experience with verification tools (comScore, IAS, Double Verify, MOAT).

- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive business insights.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, Client Services, and partners.
- Ad Management Technology: Proficiency in ad management technology, including ad servers, ad management platforms, and troubleshooting tools.
- Data-Driven Approach: A data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to create and analyze reports and insights.
