We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Active Directory and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Customer Engineer to join our team on a remote contract basis, with the potential to extend up to 18 months or transition into a full-time role. About the Role

As a Senior AD/PKI Customer Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to Microsoft customers, focusing on Active Directory Certificate Services, PKI hierarchies, and related technologies. You'll work closely with customers to understand their needs, deliver assessments, and provide guidance on best practices and technology implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive services, including education workshops, assessments, and expert guidance to customers
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring deliveries align with customer projects and milestones
• Analyze problems and provide technical solutions, leveraging deep knowledge of Active Directory and PKI technologies
• Maintain, extend, and develop accreditations, certifications, and best practices for key technologies and products
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, including technical writing, presentation, and training abilities
• Collaborate with Microsoft's consulting practice and product groups to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends
• Participate in a thriving developer community, driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Deep knowledge (300-400 level) of Active Directory Certificate Services, including large-scale two and three-tier PKI hierarchies (>1 issuer)
• Experience with NDES and OCSP, as well as scripted installations (Preferred)
• Understanding of database cleanup options and PKI domain maintenance
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services, including replication, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Group Policy implementation, design, and troubleshooting
• Security and administration expertise in Active Directory environments, including PKI
• Fundamental networking knowledge, including IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, and routing
