About the Role

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at GetInsured, you'll be the face of our company, providing top-notch support to our customers via inbound and outbound calls, online chat inquiries, and other channels. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers have a seamless and satisfying experience when interacting with our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service experiences through inbound and outbound calls, online chat inquiries, and other assigned channels
  • Manage customer accounts, provide technical support, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform application data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues
  • Show flexibility and adaptability in response to changing projects and updates
  • Effectively manage your time and tasks, prioritizing multiple responsibilities and meeting productivity standards
  • Participate in extensive self-study, training, and testing to ensure eligibility to proceed through training and certifications
  • Adhere to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and compliance

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to meet our essential requirements and possess the necessary qualifications. We're looking for individuals who are:

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Equipped with a reliable computer and internet connection (minimum 35 mb/s)
  • Able to commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period
  • Willing to complete a background check and health screening
  • Using a cable/fiber broadband internet connection with a hard-wired ethernet connection (not compatible with mobile internet service providers or satellite)

Qualifications:

  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of professionalism
  • Self-motivated and success-driven, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Comfortable working from home and managing distractions

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer support or technical support roles
  • Familiarity with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
  • Experience working in a call center environment
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and practices
  • Spanish bilingual skills, a plus
