About the Role

We're seeking an experienced data analyst and market researcher to join our Content Operations & Innovation Organization as a remote data entry intern for the summer of 2024. As a member of our Netfx team, you'll play a key role in facilitating departmental needs and participating in a program that offers training and development to equip you with the skills necessary to become a strong candidate for future entry-level positions in business analytics, regardless of domain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of current well-established transactional, digital marketplaces.
• Study and examine industry developments and competitive landscapes for global marketplaces.
• Offer insights and hints based on market analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior team members to plot and refine aggressive pricing techniques.
• Help in developing financial models to evaluate business performance and assess capability situations.
• Contribute to forecasting and budgeting procedures to assist financial planning efforts.
• Collaborate with teams across departments to recognize business opportunities.
• Participate in meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations.

Requirements

To be considered for this internship, you'll need to have:

• An interest in working within the entertainment industry.
• An interest in global marketplace evaluation and platform (customer/setter) experience.
• Residency in the L. location during the internship (relocation and housing guide may be provided, if applicable).
• Basic knowledge of computers and familiarity with software programs, including Google Suite (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel).
• Collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative to work independently.
• Attention to detail and practices true judgment.
• Curious about getting to know new technology and workflows.
• The ability to keep confidentiality and utmost discretion while being privy to sensitive information.
