This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a growing industry dedicated to our residents and your success!<br><br><strong>Our Maintenance Assistant /Caretakers<br><br></strong><ul><li>Perform general housekeeping and maintenance, including some light repair, working in common areas (pools, common areas) helping with apartment cleanings, and other general upkeep.</li><li>Prepare and organizes materials and equipment as needed.</li><li>Perform daily rounds and check of various systems as assigned, including related record keeping.</li><li>Able to work a few on-call hours as needed (incentive pay for on-call).</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Need To Succeed<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must be at least eighteen years of age with the ability to read, write and speak English</li><li>Some training in vocational school or trade apprenticeship program</li><li>A minimum of 1 years building maintenance work experience.</li><li>Completion of a background check, drug screen. Other pre-employment screenings may include physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements Include<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ability to work in different physical positions to complete tasks, while providing a variety of physically demanding maintenance-related tasks inside and outside the building</li><li>Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to work with tools and equipment</li><li>May need to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.</li></ul>
