Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Some experience in childcare, demonstrating your ability to work with children and understand their needs.
  • A passion for working one-on-one with children with autism, showing empathy and a commitment to their development.
  • Excellent customer care, customer service, computer, organization, time management, writing, and verbal communications skills.
  • The ability to meet assigned goals and work towards achieving them with dedication and perseverance.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, along with proof of employment eligibility/work authorization.
  • The capacity to pass a background check, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:

  • A stable job history, demonstrating your reliability and commitment to your work.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR, showing your preparedness for any situation.
  • Completion of some college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or another human services field, highlighting your relevant knowledge and skills.
  • The ability to speak multiple languages, enhancing your ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients and families.

Compensation and Benefits
