Key Responsibilities

• Manage pre and post-award contract activities, including maintaining contractual opportunities and assisting in the formulation of contract policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Participate in and oversee team review of customer contractual and purchase documents, coordinate legal activities for contract/agreement negotiation, and support the bid process.
• Maintain contract records/files and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Develop and implement tools and automation in contracting operations to increase efficiency and sales productivity.
• Support the sales team in educating government contracting officers on AWS cloud services and advising them on the AWS cloud contracting model.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and ensure contract compliance.

Essential Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of contracts management experience with US Government Contracts, with a focus on Federal contracting (FAR/DFAR).
• 5+ years of experience managing IDIQ type contracts.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FAR, DFAR, all government contract types, UCC, commercial contracts, and cradle-to-grave process.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating legal terms of enterprise technology commercial contracts.
• Demonstrated sound judgment, even in ambiguous situations.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with SharePoint and SalesForce.
• Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role.
