About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at GA Foods, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing courteous, accurate, and secure processing of customer orders and deliveries. This is a full-time, 100% remote position that offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Process inbound and outbound customer calls and member orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Act as a liaison between the company, customers, agencies, and Case Managers to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Strive to meet or exceed outlined metrics while providing exceptional customer service through voice, chat, and/or email communications.
- Drive customer satisfaction by identifying and addressing customer needs, and recommending appropriate products or services.
- Accurately enter customer orders into our ERP and other programs, ensuring data integrity and attention to detail.
Essential Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of a high school diploma.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong customer orientation and focus, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and maintaining attention to detail.
- Dependability and strong work ethic, with a commitment to meeting productivity and quality goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior customer service or call center experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
- Bilingual skills, with a $0.50 per hour differential paid for eligible candidates.
- Experience with soft sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling, with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
Technical Requirements
- A minimum of one or two 19-inch or larger monitors (2 are recommended) to ensure efficient workflow.
- Headset with microphone, mice, keyboard, and other necessary equipment to facilitate effective communication.
- Internet speed with a minimum of 5.0 MB upload speed and 10 MB download speed, with a highly stable internet provider and packet loss and latency under 100ms.
- DSL or Broadband services required, with no media streaming, ripping, media playing, or gaming permitted during working hours.
