Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for supporting HR inquiries initiated by employees, retirees, and business partners, utilizing your strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to provide timely and accurate responses. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with Ask HR team members, leadership, employees, and retirees to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Actively working in the ServiceNow technology platform to receive and respond to employee questions, requests, and issues, utilizing your critical thinking attributes to ensure thorough understanding and accurate resolution.
  • Continuously seeking to expand your business knowledge across HR functions and divisions, staying up-to-date on the latest policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participating in frequent team meetings to gather updates, address questions, and escalate issues or themes for leadership consideration, ensuring that your voice is heard and your contributions are valued.
  • Coordinating with Ask HR Leaders, HR Function Leaders, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to effectively escalate issues and resolve questions or concerns promptly, in alignment with our Service Level Agreement.
  • Providing support to the overall Employee and Alumni Services team on special projects and initiatives, leveraging your skills and expertise to drive business results and improve processes.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience, providing you with a solid foundation in the principles and practices of HR.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources, customer service, operations, or service delivery center, demonstrating your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional service.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret policy and procedures independently, ensuring that you can navigate complex issues and provide accurate solutions.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and select weekends as necessary to meet quotas and accommodate fluctuating business needs, demonstrating your commitment to delivering results and supporting the team.
