About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team in Dallas, USA. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our Exadata/Exacc database platform, ensuring the integrity and security of our data, and providing technical support to our users. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Exadata/Exacc database platform, ensuring optimal performance and security

• Establish and maintain database security procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices
• Provide technical support to user groups, including incident and problem management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database systems with other applications and infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our database systems and processes
• Participate in backup audits, ensuring all data and information is preserved and easily recoverable
• Develop and implement migration/upgrade strategies for new Oracle releases and development patches

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with in-depth knowledge of Oracle databases and related technologies
• Hands-on experience with Exadata/Exacc, Oracle Cloud solutions, and Linux operating systems
• Strong understanding of database design, architecture, and configuration, including backup and recovery procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications
