Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, incoming correspondence, and other communications sources to address customer inquiries and concerns
  • Input and track customer information into the appropriate databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Remain current on new marketing campaigns and respond appropriately to marketing-related inquiries using all available resource tools
  • Handle requests regarding customer documentation, clearly explaining documents and follow-up requirements, and providing updates as warranted
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of insurance policies and related processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for cross-sales and processing changes to customer policies accurately
  • Employ probing questions and active listening skills to understand customer issues or questions, showing interest, compassion, and empathy for the caller's situation
  • Ensure facilitation of first-call resolution and customer satisfaction on all transactions handled, resolving routine, complex, and unique questions or issues

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • 0-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, software, and technology, including databases and customer relationship management tools
  • A strong focus on customer satisfaction, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring first-call resolution

Preferred Qualifications
