Job Summary
We're seeking customer service representatives to work remotely and provide top-notch support to students, parents, and educators who reach out to our non-profit client for assistance. As a customer service representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for callers, responding to their queries, resolving issues, and providing information in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls from students, parents, and educators, providing information and support on scholarship programs, application processes, and related services.
- Resolve caller complaints and concerns in a fair, timely, and professional manner, escalating complex issues to senior representatives as needed.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to empathize with callers, understand their needs, and deliver personalized support.
- Maintain accurate records of caller interactions, documenting issues, resolutions, and follow-up activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and feedback, contributing to continuous improvement and process enhancements.
- Adhere to performance metrics and quality standards, striving for excellence in every interaction.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- At least one year of customer service or call center experience.
- Excellent English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
- A customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service experiences.
- Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Accurate typing and keyboard skills, with comfort using PCs and navigating the internet.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a non-profit or education setting.
- Familiarity with scholarship programs or financial aid processes.
- Certification in customer service or a related field.
