About the Role: Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Beyond Finance, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients enrolled in our financial hardship programs. You will embody our company's voice and values, providing a vital connection between our Sales, Operations, and Client Success teams. Our CSRs are known for their exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

In this remote role, you will undergo a comprehensive 4-week training program to become an expert in our financial hardship programs. Upon successful completion, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service, responding promptly to client requests, and anticipating their needs to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a best-in-class customer service experience over the phone by responding to client requests, anticipating unstated needs, and educating them on our programs
  • Analyze client problems and provide timely, efficient solutions through effective listening and strong interpersonal skills
  • Handle difficult calls courteously and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for our clients
  • Thoroughly document request outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis
  • Work efficiently to resolve client requests independently and as part of a team
  • Develop and maintain positive client relations, coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and appropriate responses to client inquiries
  • Utilize our CRM database to obtain and extract information, document client interactions, and update account information
  • Effectively interpret and respond to client inquiries and problems using appropriate resource materials
  • Manage a high volume of clients in a remote call center environment

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of call center experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Bilingual Spanish language skills (required)
  • A reliable, high-speed internet connection
  • Technical proficiency with Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • A strong customer service orientation, with excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time efficiently
  • The ability to work from home in a distraction-free environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus:

  • Previous experience working with CRM systems, preferably in a customer service or sales role
  • Knowledge of financial hardship programs or experience working in the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
