Key Responsibilities

• Provide IT administration of expert services, project management, and support to ensure the operational maintainability of critical infrastructure.
• Manage IT labs to align with client application and engineering teams, providing workstations, hardware, and access to test applications.
• Coordinate with professional services for basic infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms.
• Oversee the management, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of all critical facilities infrastructure for data center and remote communication room hardware.
• Develop data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.
• Support IT Offices grounds fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta airport and grounds facilities underground fiber ring.
• Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, rules, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all governing corporate norms and rules.
• Manage projects related to data center and remote communication room capital upgrades, redesigns, and improvements.
• Select IT and basic facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for items and services, and verifying that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of data center technology and basic facilities infrastructure.
• Project management experience, particularly in high-availability communication rooms or data center environments.
• Capital forecasting and project management skills for airport basic gear life cycle replacement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to prioritize multiple tasks within established time limitations.
• Flexibility to support an operation with changing shifts, extended hours, and on-call work requirements.
• A commitment to the safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
• An embracing attitude towards diverse individuals, thinking, and styles.

Preferred Qualifications
