Workwarp is seeking a highly motivated and creative Development Officer to join our team in a part-time fundraising role. As a remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to the growth and development of our Clinic services, providing essential healthcare to the underserved Latino community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support Clinic services, including grant writing, donor development, and event planning.
  • Partner with the team to identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, leveraging your creativity and innovative thinking.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community partners to secure financial support for our healthcare services.
  • Manage and report on fundraising campaigns, events, and grants, ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
  • Utilize social media and electronic applications to promote fundraising efforts and support organizational development.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop marketing materials and public relations strategies that support our mission and fundraising goals.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy laws related to HIPAA and the healthcare environment.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, working effectively as a team member and independently.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree and at least five years of experience in fundraising and donor development.
  • Proven grant writing, reporting, and management skills.
  • Event planning experience, with a track record of successful events.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with social media and electronic applications relevant to fundraising.
  • Knowledge of public relations and marketing principles to support organizational development.
  • A solid understanding of privacy laws related to HIPAA and the healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Project management experience, with a proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion.
  • A track record of innovative thinking and creative problem-solving in fundraising and donor development.
