We're now seeking an experienced Director - Sales and Account Management to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth, revenue, and customer satisfaction for our core Media and Telecommunications clients.
About the Role
This exciting opportunity requires a seasoned executive with a strong background in sales and account management, preferably in the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry. As Director - Sales and Account Management, you'll be responsible for overseeing a select number of fast-growing core Media and Telecommunications clients, understanding the digital transformation landscape, and creating and maintaining strong relationships with business decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the digital transformation landscape and its impact on our clients' businesses
- Foster strong relationships with C-level executives and business decision-makers to drive growth and revenue
- Collaborate with the account team to formulate and maintain the Account Growth Plan, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives
- Own the P&L and financials for assigned clients, driving business growth and profitability
- Achieve business KPIs, including growth percentage, revenue, gross margin, utilization, and customer satisfaction
- Negotiate effective commercial terms and agreements that drive business success
- Develop and lead digital transformation conversations across a broad spectrum of C-level executives and buyers
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a strategic consulting or software development services company, preferably in the BPO industry
- A strong background in the Media and/or Telecommunications industry, with a deep understanding of the client/industry space
- Financial and business acumen to build compelling account-growth plans that drive business success
- A consultative business development mentality and approach, with demonstrable expertise in driving business activity
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effective commercial terms and agreements
- Good team-building and customer service skills that drive satisfaction and loyalty
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- A Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
- Previous experience achieving revenue targets and strategic growth in a sales leadership role
